The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a twenty20 cricket competition created as well as promoted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and backed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Each of these teams will play with each other twice in a round robin system, similar to the 2008 IPL season.
