Indian Premier League Coaches

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) with its Indian premier league (IPL) has created waves in the cricket scenario.  This Tewenty20 tournament is primarily a reaction to the recent ICL (Indian Cricket League) venture of the Essel Group.  The Indian Premier Leagues has bagged supported from not only the cricket world but also from glam and business. Some of the big names associated with this league include Shahrukh Khan, Vijay Mallya, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani, Ness Wadia and Preity Zinta. 

As far the names of the coaches for the Indian Premier League teams is concerned, there hasn’t been any comprehensive information made available.  There are clear-cut names that have emerged as yet about the choice of coaches that may train the member players of a specific Franchise team. But deciding upon appropriate coaches for the teams is definitely going to be a challenging task for the Franchise.

The ceiling for the budget that each of the Franchise can utilize for forming itself is set between $3-5 million. The corporate body has also offered assistance of Rs.100 million to CAB for organising appropriate facilities throughout the IPL matches.

There are a total of 8 Franchise teams that would be competing against each other. Each team is required to comprise of a minimum of four local players and a maximum of four foreign players. Amongst these, there are some pore-allocated players who would play for their respective state teams. These players are inclusive of Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, and Sourav Ganguly.
